Yes, we are fully insured.
For an interior/exterior cleaning, ideally yes, initially. That way we can be on the same page and go over any concerns. Many homeowner trust the service completely and garage codes are given or access to the house while no one is home is given. My job is not to rifle through your belongings. That kind of trust is not taken lightly.
Short answer is yes and No. Hard water is a difficult subject as there is more that goes into it other than removal or not. Depending on how long it’s been there or how serve the staining is, will depend on if it’s removable or not. I carry multiple products to address different levels of severity.
If products are not successful at removing hard water staining, the staining may be etched into the glass where restoration (buffing) or replacement may be the only option.
There’s no question that cleaning both the inside and outside glass will produce the best overall results, but the choice is entirely up to the homeowner. The exterior glass is typically dirtier since it’s exposed to the elements, but many people are surprised by how much buildup collects on the inside as well. Fingerprints, dust, and everyday contaminants can create a light haze on the interior glass that often goes unnoticed because it’s assumed the dirt is on the outside.
For the clearest possible results, cleaning both the interior and exterior is ideal—but exterior-only service is always an option if that’s what you prefer.
This is one of the most common questions we get. Our area receives over 120 days of precipitation each year (rain, snow, etc.), so working around the weather is simply part of the process.
Rainwater itself is actually almost completely pure. While it can occasionally pick up dust or airborne particles as it falls, that’s relatively rare. When windows appear spotted after rain, it’s typically not the rain causing it—it’s dirt that was already on the glass before the rain hit.
Professional window cleaning removes the dirt, dust, and debris from the glass. Because of this, if it rains after your windows have been cleaned, the glass should remain clear and spot-free.
For added peace of mind, we offer a 7-Day Rain Guarantee. If your windows are affected by rain within seven days of your cleaning, we’ll gladly return to touch them up at no charge.
Window cleaning can often be performed in light rain. However, if conditions create a safety concern or would prevent us from achieving results we’re proud of—such as lightning, heavy downpours, or severe weather—we may recommend rescheduling your service.
Yes, An interior/exterior cleaning includes cleaning screens, sills and frames. There is no upcharge for each screen or wiping out the sills. While most services have an up-charge for these services, these are simply included in the service.
Screens can be very dirty even though they don’t appear so. If they are not cleaned that dirt simply gets transferred to the glass with the next rain causing results to suffer.
No harsh chemicals are used in soap solutions. All soaps are toxic free, safe for kids, animals and plants. If I wouldn’t use it in my home, I wouldn’t use it in yours.
Depending on the method of cleaning, exterior cleaning may be done with only purified water that goes through a multistage filtration process, no products needed to yield professional results.
