How often should I have my windows cleaned?
It depends on a few things. Your budget is a good place to start. I’d love to say they need it weekly! Most homeowners have them done once or twice a year. There are a few that have them done more frequent, so it just depends. Commercial and storefronts have them done weekly/bi-weekly or monthly.
How long will it take to clean my house?
Keep in mind some homes will take more time and some will take less time. A typical single family home will take roughly 2-3 hours but some may take 6 hours or more.
How much will it cost to clean my house?
Every house is a little different, so I try to stay away from blanket pricing. Other companies will offer that style pricing which leaves the door open for upselling other services. My price is an all inclusive price meaning the windows, screens and wiping down the sills are included in the quote.
Do I need the inside of my windows cleaned?
Most of the exterior cleanings I do, typically result in either having me do both the insides and outsides or I get called back later to do the insides. If the windows are cleaned often the outsides typically will get dirtier than the insides. But only having the outside cleaned will enhance how dirty the insides are.
Do I need to do any prep work prior to your arrival?
We want to make this process as seamless as possible. We have the ability to work around certain obstacles but if there is anything valuable or fragile around the windows, we highly recommend having those removed prior.
Does the weather impact the service?
We work year round, so working in less than stellar conditions is typically not a problem. However if the conditions are not safe to be in or work in then we will use common sense and hold off or reschedule but that doesn’t happen very often.
My windows have a foggy appearance to them, are they just dirty?
Many times we come across windows that have broken seals or failed low E coatings. Foggy glass is most likely a result of a failed seal and while some windows may be under warranty many are not and will need to be replaced. The result will be condensation between the two panes of glass. While the glass may be as clean as possible it may not appear any different.
